Pediatric Dentist Dr. Darren Tong was recognized for his contribution to the book “Leo Learns About Life” with a Writer EXPY® Award
Tappan, NY –August 14, 2019 – Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Darren Tong, was awarded a Writer EXPY® from the National Association of Experts, Writers and Speakers®. Tong received the award due to his contribution to the book Leo Learns About Life. In this children’s anthology, Tong teamed up with other successful professionals, including Jack Canfield, to compile a selection of short stories designed to teach children invaluable lessons that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Tong was invited to attend the 5th Annual EXPY® Awards, in which three different award categories were presented: Writer, Speaker, and Media and Communications. Tong’s short story in Leo Learns About Life is entitled “Leo Protects His Smile,” and is designed to teach and inspire children to take care of their teeth and remove their fear of a dentist’s office.
Leo Learns About Life was published by CelebrityPress® and is currently available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other major online book retailers. A portion of the royalties earned from Leo Learns About Life will be given to Entrepreneur’s International Foundation, a not for profit organization dedicated to creating awareness for charitable causes.

Dr. Darren Tong – For over 28 years, Dr. Darren Tong has been one of the most trusted pediatric dentists in Bergen and Rockland Counties. Dr. Tong earned his doctor of dental medicine from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class.
